Who is Magnum 38?
Behind the mask of Magnum38 we find amicable Oliver Greschke, grown up inmidst of gentle foothills and crazy vineyards in Southern Germany, driven into the arms of punk rock in his love-hate-hometown of Stuttgart, further socialized soundwise in Germany’s most notorious Drum'n'Bass hotbed of the 90ies, Mannheim. Magnum 38 is a native of Berlin for six years now. As a graduated social scientist and freelance web programmer and sound designer he is all too familiar with controlling complex structures and the everyday craziness of urban existence. Since 1999 does Magnum38 provide the appropriate soundtrack on Berlin’s very own Shitkatapult. His live portfolio includes appearances in these renowned clubs: Maria berlin, Tresor berlin, So 36 berlin, Scheune dresden, Distillery leipzig, Lounge zürich, Hive club zürich, Nouveau Casino paris, Rex paris, Super Deluxe tokyo.
