Born in the 70’s in suburbian Paris, Léonard de Léonard is definitly not a newcomer in the french electro scene. From hardcore techno to hip hop or french chanson to electronica, he meets Louise Vertigo, Gonzales, Rubin Steiner, Roudoudou, Norazia, Peaches, The Goats, Ming… In the meantime, Léonard mixes in Parisian clubs like the Paris Paris, Le Baron, Batofar, Nouveau Casino, Divan du Monde, Glaz’art, Cabaret Sauvage…

On his machines, the compositions multiply and he decides to launch his own projects. The Leonizer series begins with two vinyl Eps and his first album, Leonizer Fever (Musiques Hybrides). Critically acclaimed, this genre-defying electro album illustrates Léonard’s multicultural style and ability to blend many musical styles. In 2004, Léonard finished his second solo album, “2” with many appearances from guest rapper Maxx (ex The Goats). After meeting Ekler’o’shock for the compilation The Unexpektheadz on which Léonard already rappers with Maxx, both artist and label decide to go further. The result is Coup de foudre, a ground breaking E.P with Maxx and french vocalist Meninamandine, exploring styles like
old school electro, electroclash, crunk, party song…

In 2007 Léonard will come back with a brand new EP featuring remix from Chris de Luca vs. Phono and Breakbot.
